I did that but I couldn't get the app to actually work, so I couldn't get anywhere with it. In fact I don't even have a KingRoot app to open anymore because it's already made itself a phone service.Ī couple sites said try installing an older version of KingRoot (4.1). I tried factory reset through recovery mode and KingRoot keeps installing itself back.Įverything online says to uninstall KingRoot through your apps and then open this "KingUser" application, but I do not have a KingUser App to open. Well turns out it's spyware and now I can't get rid of it. This device is apparently unsupported by everything but KingRoot says it works on many things and was listed in one of the links your FAQ sticky recommends. I have a BLU Advance 4.0L, runs Android 4.2.2.
I don't care about any data or settings on the phone.
